Oh no.. what happened to my blog?? such an ugly blog skin now.
It's the third week of school tmr. Time flies.. from me lamenting that school is starting soon to now it's almost half a month. Guess i'll be more relaxed with only 6 projects and presentations this term? But i have 4 papers.. one more compared to last term. My mind had already started to count down to week 16 since day one of school.
ALthough im very positive regarding my dad's issue, there are certain times where i feel guilty, feel afraid. Feel that i don spend enough QUALITY time with him, given that he's working and my school workload. Im afraid few years down the road i don accumulate enough memories...memries of someoe who gave his all to wife and children,n work his life out to provide us with the best education.. All these which i would not want to take for granted.
Though im still in the process of working towards a better gpa, grades to me is not my utmost priority. i need to constant remind myself of this.
Glad i have a supportive hubby...;)

Im finally back to student life. excited? not really cos once school starts means life gets busy again. i did something which i regretted at first.. but after which managed to seek another alternative. i was too rash on that day. Going back to my strategy of saving e$ through playing 'dirty' (by dropping the module and re-bid again at a lower price) for labor econ, i didnt get. Took the risk to drop and re-bid at $22 when initially i bidded for $40..in the end.. out of the 5 vacancies offered, the min price is $200+. Freak..who had so much $$$ in the first place? I even bought the text book.. now still awaiting replies from friends whether they wanna purchase from me. In the end, even in the second round of bidding which ended yesterday, though i bidded for $50 for zero vacancy in anticipation that someone will drop the course, no one drop at all lor! Fated that i've to do ethics cos i got the bid for that as my contingency plan. damn. I was kinda disappointed at first.. why do i have to take such a high risk even though i have so much e$ in my account? I saved these 'money' wisely throughout my last 2 years. This risk costed me even higher price in the end. Hate my timetable for this semester..cos i dun like 3.30 and 8.30am classes at all. The updated as below.

This blog is for specially for my big baby, in case he forgets any details of 1689 in future and when i test him he cannot answer my question. Better remember what i wear etc.. Anyway, on 15 aug 09, we celebrated our 1st year Anniversary. And this little boy said he planned it 2 weeks ago. I got lots of shocks and surprises!;) Received the best pressie so far...
The day was unusually long too.. cos we spent almost the whole day together. 15 aug was Mother Mary Assumption day, so our choir in charge of 10am mass. After mass, first surprise was he bought me the big yellow duck that we saw last week at cineleisure. Baby insisted on buying because the yellow yaya was really beautiful..so he bought the 10th soft toy for me to put on my bed. Very soon i'll have to fall off my upper deck bed. okay then lunch at koba..dunno how to spell. AFter that, the second place was Wisma. thought he wanted to buy me a dress.. but it turned out to be something which i didnt expect he would buy on that day. the e ring. shall skip the proposal part. i was playing hard to get all day..lol!Poor baby...Followed up was something also out of my expectation. Throughout the car journey i was asked to shut my eyes.. while he drove to the destination..of course in between i couldnt sleep as i couldnt stand being kept in suspense..so i took peeks here and there. heh..it was the singapore flyer! Baby booked it online a week ago. boarded the capsule at 5pm. But it is supposed to be just 20-25min?? baby said website wrote 45min or so. Anyway it was a good experience..but i would rather save the money and not even consider having a second one. Again i was thinking where the dinner would be.. baby brought me to marina square..said i would know where we 're gonna eat. But i really dunno..haha till the time we stopped in front of pasta de waraku!!uh oh this time i couldnt predict despite your hints sorry. Ate that carbonara again, and we shared a heavenly choc brownie. I still cant forget the taste. Okay after a full dinner, we did shopping..i bought a fox t-shirt, an orange color that i longed wanted to buy since it's 50% off. was so happy to see it again..cos the ps branch changed to its new collection thus no more sale. The night continued...in a sweet and romantic setting...till then,

THis post is becos i got really nothing to do.. am damn hot and boring. While my house is under some sort of painting by workers.. every where is covered up with newspapers and i just finished some sweeping of the floor... so i shall relive some memories on 1688.. since our 1st anniversary is round the corner.
1688 was our first date. Baby somehow had the ability of making me said yes to meet up with u thru msn. hehe. We met up at Eunos mrt before six as last minute i told him my company meeting would end early. This boy was so happy and i remembered reading an sms saying that meeting up early means can spend more time with me.. silly boy. Then from there took train right.. to town area.. then went marina to pasta de waraku.. where i was kinda 'blur blur'..was probably too impress of how 'gentleman' this boy could be. But i know throughout the whole walking and talking i was very shy. Staring at the menu i dunno what to eat.. baby said im free to eat anything i like.. so in e end i let him decide for me.. we ate the same thing rite.. the carbonara and a pizza with the egg in the middle. After eating we walked to esplanade rite.. sat near the water-spitting merlion and chat.. found that baby was a very nice person to talk to.. overall i felt that i could be so unreserved to him.. On our way back entering Raffles Mrt, he held my hand on exactly that spot. He became my boyfriend from that moment onwards. Our spot, our chair.. things i could clearly recall especially during my past 3 months+ of internship at boc. i think the only big difference now is that when we go out no longer need to take train or buses as baby bought his own car. Gone r the days when u hug me in the train!

So it was when we tally that i know it s due to ah ma's curry which we ate last night that caused us the runs. The five of us had diarrhoea today. Poor dad ten over times in church while having his retreat... i wonder how he can meditate.. me? i almost died in singapore zoo with the orang utans, tigers, hippos, polar bears etc..luckily baby took care of me.
A very nice day spent with hubby nonetheless.. good weather cos after a rain..had tram rides and boat ride for a weak me..
And the day would end better if i tell everyone i cant buy dinner back?

7 Aug marked the end of my internship at card centre. Manager treated me and haoyu,my fellow intern colleague to a nice lunch at asian kitchen-Republic PLaza. I also received a few gifts from my colleagues- a pretty handmade photo-frame, a green purse and a box of chocs. Will miss alot of stuff.. especially the market street food centre, my fav hideout with lots of cheap food.
This weekend baby managed to get tickets to the movie up.. the show is really nice and cute. One of my favorite shows perhaps. It set me thinking how nice it would be if i have a floating house that can bring me to any corner of the world...
Today was St Anthony's choir gathering. Using the choir fund we had a nice lunch at the vine- a restaurant opposite novena church. sing together then eat together.. ;) After that we went novena square shopping.. but we didnt stay for long.. i wasnt feeling well as was suffering from constipation and cramps..double whammy.
Watched NDP at home;) still prefer those old national songs.. eg HOME, where i belong, we will get there etc..
Enuff of blogging.. tmr public hol baby dun need to work. He 's going to bring me to the zoo!;)

Lysias is finally into her last week of internship!!! i wouldnt say i cant wait to get out of that place.. cos i kinda enjoy the working environment and the nice colleagues and bosses. made some friends.. from customer service to card processing to accounts dept.;) What i think i'll dread most is the thought the school is gonna start very soon, on 17 aug.
Didnt blog for close to a month. Events like my 21st birthday and St Anne's Feastday etc.. gave me happy memories. my 21st was spent in the arms of baby, family and friends. simple. as unlike most of my friends who threw birthday parties, we both were damn low profile lahz haha!! Rather it was my relatives who gave us a mini celebration at ah ma house and at night a 'surprise visit ' by a bunch of secondary friends. These 2 parties were on sun 19jul. And on the actual day, i got my best gift ever from hubby. And he had half-day leave, got evrything well-planned for me and sis from the duck tour to movies-ice age to shopping!
St Anne's feast day 26jul.. st anthony's choir rostered for a 'big' mass - the evening outdoor procession mass. details include good and bad stuff which i shall not put it here;)Had a nice food and funfair though.

Mum is pestering me to quickly get my hair done! Counting down to 1689, 1st Anniversary. wonder has it been planned?*grin*
