My timetable for next semester is out. Instead of a 4-day school week like now...hmm.. this time even more slack i guess. I m only preassigned 3 modules. so is 3-day week.

Mon 12-3.15pm: Business, Government and Society
Tue 8.30-1145am: Micro econs
Wed: 12-3.15pm: Creative thinking
5.15-6.45pm: Analytical skills
7.30pm: fides cca

Left with LTB presentation and report. TWC project is almost completed. presentation's over and report is in the process of collating. Not much work to do..except preparing for LTB presentation next sat. Deepavali next thurs, thus class is postponed to sat. it means got more time to prepare.

My new laptop is cool! It's acer brand, 12inches, 1.8kg, with microphone and web-cam. My uncle from Indonesia chose it for me. He's a computer pro who installed everything for me.. MOst importantly, he got it at are a real cheap rate.. So now I can bring my new lappy to school everyday without complaining of muscle ache anymore! ya.. I'm refering to my huge and bulky laptop at home.

A new week tmr. And I've got a presentation for my TWC project on second life. Had a project meeting this afternoon, so I skipped my choir practice after mass. Attended 3 masses this week. THurs HI thksgiving mass. The rhythm of the new stagea organ turned out to be quite nice.. didnt give me much trouble. But my settings were limited cos I dont have time to explore the sounds. I met my sec 3/4 chinese teacher, mrs ng. super miss her alot but no time to chat. I tell myself, next time if i go back school again must really look for her.

I think I m starting to adapt more to school life. LOwer my expectations and I realised that I'm happy. Expected to fail my statistics test and math for econs test cos I really think it's tough. especially the math test. freaking difficult. Then end up got 21/30 and 28/40 respectatively. hahaha I actually passed lor! Unlike jc, I dont really go into mugging. perhaps because of the padegogy in smu? We are more into projects, projects and Presentations. exams are only 30 or 40% of the final grade.

Anyway I missed FIDES alot lar. Missed meetings for 3 weeks le. cos that time got piano concert, proj meeting etc.. this wed still wondering to help Iris' choir for eve of all saints day mass. Anyway my choir in charge on thurs 8pm=)

What a busy weekend... not with schoolwork, but church. Recalling from fri.. I remember reaching home around 7 plus after my proj meeting. Then Iris came to my place to practice her wedding songs. She's getting married next month.. think should be 17th nov or 18th.. but we wont attending her wedding dinner la cos got some other stuff.. Then on sat. wedding mass till 1230, reached home around 2pm. haha lydia took bus while i took train. cos i bought the train concession, so dont waste money to take bus. Then in the end i reached home first.But.. it isnt a fair thing la cos twin met our jc fren esther so they chatted. Starting the TWC readings given by prof.. add up around 30 pages. Didnt really have time to read finish.. went church for chinese mass. When i reached home around 10 plus.. taught jess, my english choir mate to sing the responsorial psalm. on the phone.. quite difficult on the phone la... In the end to finish up the readings, I slept at 2am. This is the first time I ever burn midnight oil eversince i step into Uni!!! freaking tired today. woke up at 7 for choir prac and 2 masses. second mass end at 12pm. Ard 2.30pm i met my fren Joanna at nativity church. sought her help in 'operating' the new stagea organ. I gonna have hell on thurs..=( The diskette recording of the organ, the sound and rhythm i all not familiar at all cos only used that organ once.. thurs HI thksgiving mass. I guess I have to reach 1h earlier 6.30am to set the registrations from the scratch.. hope no weird sounds come out! God bless!

It's so important to look things at the bright side. Don't see work as a big mountain, but rather see how u can 'split' the work into days such that u can meet deadlines. I felt overwhelmed last weekend, when i thought that after recess week gonna have hell. BUt i managed to complete my 4pg assignment on biotech on tues and a short report on business model for my second life project. So now quite slacked, waiting to do the freaking 10pg research paper on coporate identity next week, as well as my LTB comm service proj report, which the meeting will be on mon to discuss.

First time missed class today cos not feeling well. tue had a super serious headache that i cant even sleep at night even after taking medicine. I cant say is stress, though. cos i dont think i am stressed. completed most assignments plus unlike jc, I have my 8 hours of sleep for the past 2 weeks!!! sleep so much still get headache?!

I had fun last night- skipping fides meeting to attend a piano concert at my sch arts and culture center. It's more of vocal music- one person sings in dunno what language, then one pianist played the accompaniment. The whole thing is about poets of love... too abstract la. I guess my music appreciation skills is not there yet, cos the concert is still cheem for me to absorb and understand.

Sat wedding mass again 1130am. and after that gotta go school. extra math remedial to go through the math assignment. After wedding mass must fly to sch to attend the class at 12pm boo...late.. Sun... two morning masses=)

The last day of recess week. school starting on monday... all the projects and assignments deadlines looming.. anyway i have been quite slack this entire week. The most only complete my math assignments then revise everything of technology and world change. But i haven start my assignment yet=( will do it tmr. I fianally went shopping today!!! centrepoint and OG. bought clothes and a pair of slippers... i wonder when was the last time i stepped into a shopping mall. 2 months ago? before stepping into smu. Other than this memorable shopping trip, i really had fun at Pertapis Home for the 2 days, interacting with the girls.. taking photos and videos. I realised i took around 20 videos and 10 pictures on the 'pertapis idol' singing cum interview and our modelling competition. yea, shall seek my sis' help in uploading them.

hmm weekends tmr. Nothing special la as usual chinese choir practice. i wont be attending the mass. then i have to learn this new hymn, As bread that is broken. new to me, then got so many flats. Ab major. so must start practicing for sun.

Looking forward to going to Pertapis girls' home again tomorrow. Yesterday was our first workshop on social etiquette. my team mate, ben was the speaker. He was so fantastic- a fluent and confident speaker who managed to get all the attention of the girls. THings were better than what i've expected. The girls were quite enthusiastic and participative, fighting to raise their hands and answer questions. Then at the end of the workshop, we let them perform a skit. Here's the question: imagine you are introducing your boyfriend to your parents. The group which i facilitated presented theirs in front of everyone. It was damn amusing! I also got to know this girl whose name is susu. she loved to take pictures, always holding a cam, so i told her to take more photos so that we can use that for our project presentation.

And a piece of goooood news: I passed my piano exam. got 112.

Had an enjoyable weekends! sat went to school for some filming. my members and i video-shot ourselves wearing the wrong matching of clothes. For me, i borrowed my mum's collar shirt which is loose and huge, and i matched it with my fitting jeans. haha. look like a 'xi yi ban'.(wash board!) Imagine a group of 7ppl wearing the wrong combination of clothes. we invited stares from ppl along the streets at bras basah. It was real fun!
Then I went for chinese choir practice in the evening.. shun bian collected those goods which my godma got for me..
Then at night something touched happened. The 2 Taiwanese ladies that i met previously, one of them called and said they're safely at KL already. very nice knowing them.

Today.. went Funan with dom, my english choir conductor, to buy his software. Also had dessert there, red bean plus corn. delicious. oK, some shopping for me today..hee. after that went to ah ma's place and ate a huge bowl of her fried rice. went home for a nap. then went out again to buy nasi lemak for dinner.. after which do some work and watch tv. =)

My entries are getting less and less frequent. Anyway, this week is finally over! with both stats and maths test, and today's presentation. the math test is freaking difficult. i ll just wait and see how 'low' i can achieve. Recess week starts next week-but it;s not a break la. It's the beginning of projects. my technology abd world change proj on second life, suppose to produce a 10page singled spaced report. conducting workshops at Pertapis centre for women and girls next tue and thurs, and wed is the fides day of recollection. fri is shopping day! must really find one day to enjoy and slack. I have to say that i 'm afraid of failure in jc, probably becus only fail once or twice for exams.. now uni le.. things are definitely tougher.. so much lower down expectations.=) i 'm beginning to 'enjoy' school life. Anyway, cheers to my godmother, whose so nice and wonderful, helped me attain aponsorship of files and stationery from popular! for the gals at pertapis. cos she worked at some department in popular.

Something interesting today. I was at city hall mrt, going home when i met these 2 so called tourists from taiwan who asked me which line to take to newton. so we walked together. they are so nice..gave me their namecards and told me to look for them if i go to taiwan next time. they re here on biz trip..must be owning some huge company that have branches in singapore and malaysia.

I reached home so early, around 5pm then had a long nap...
