Had project meeting at Li ka shing library at 2pm with my dear members: clara, lynn, juiying,wendy, chen bo and benjamin. did the action plan: we emailed various boys and girls home to see if they allow us to perform our community service-we are going to do a workshop on etiquette. in two weeks time will be our project proposal presentation. okays..this is for leadership and team-buiding.
Talking about another module: technology and world change... somehow intimidated by it.. cos there's lots of readings to prepare.. and they are important cos if dun read, cant speak. too factual la... i;ve to admit that i m bad in speaking facts in class..cos u really have to memorize the facts.. unlike leadership and teambuiding, it;s easier to speak in class as most of it are common sense..
Another 2 mods are math for econ analysis and statistics. i love math. But, it's so different at the tertiary level..cos we really have to understand the concept behind it. unlike jc, where we just need to memorize the standard format.. then just calculate the answer....now math must write many words. hmm.. and i got the same prof for these 2 mods. Dr Lin ting kwong. very nice prof, but he can be monotonous at times. yup and class participation 10% nia.. which is very small, so no need to talk much in class. must start the math assignments tmr. All assignments are graded.
Lastly academic writing module. I've a wonderful teacher. ms norazida. very patient and her lessons sometimes very comical. haha.. But i'm stressed... cos of the essays. essay 1 3-4 pages. essay 2 5-6 pages and the very final research paper is 10 pages! lol. in jc gp only need to produce 500words nia... but now...i even have difficulty producing 3 pages! font 12. which is damn small lor... haix!!!! stressed!!!
ok..next cca. yay!!! I love FIDES. the catholc society in smu. in latin stands for faith. meeting held every wed 7.30 -9.30 PM. at cana. very near st peter and paul's church. which means my lesson ends at 3.15 then i have to wait and rot.. but i study with my frens la. hahaha i very guai. actually as if! dunno how slack i've become eversince i enter the doors of smu. ok la. I never regret choosing smu. in fact i really thank god for that. so near to my place already. everyday 15mins ride from kovan to dhoby. or not sometimes city hall to school of business. then smu is like.. the environment very nice.. the seminar rooms.. group study rooms etc. the best thing is that i;ll never get lost. cos it;s small and ralatively easy to find. every building is linked through the concourse at basement 1 which is open to the public.
My second cca is the invvestment interactive club. fri 4-6pm. but have start yet maybe soon and i'll elaborate more. my entry is super long. i think i shall stop here. gonna print out my lecture notes and sleep. NItezzZZ.
