Wow..I haven been updating this blog for days. ok, Let's start from national day.Singapore's birthday. We the 3 sisters didnt had chance to catch the ndp on tv as we were busying shopping at tampines. hee but saw some fireworks. damn beautiful.
The next day, which was fri was fides camp where i got to know the catholic community of smu. I had lots of fun! There's praise and worship, and some sessions conducted by external speakers. the games were super fun! first day was some treasure hunt thing.. second day was the amazing race, where we had to run from church to church. those in proximity with school eg st peter and paul, the cathedral and st joseph's. the last destination we actually had to take bus to st teresa's church. The place where grandpa is rested. so i took the chance to look for him at the colombarium. This was the second time i visited him ever since he passed away 2 yrs ago on 16dec.
Then through this camp i got to know joshua who played the kleyboard for mass and praise and worship sessions. He actually belongs to peter low's choir. omg! the very pro choir! My st anthony's choir had an outing few months ago to the cathedral to listen to peter low's choir. And they said it was fantastic; the conductor and organist etc.
National day good news: I passed my ELW test! yipp. so can be excuse from the waiver test tmr. can now proceed to bid for academic writing on wed. first time trying out boss. kindaexcited for it. another half good half bad news: good in the sense that my piano exam date is 27 sept! which is very very late i guess. late sept. bad is that the recital room is super small. according to my sis, i think it is just nice to put in the piano, a table for the examiner, the examiner himself and myself.
Lastly, 12 aug today. Happy birthday to my sec 1 math teacher, mrs cheong, who had been safe in God's arms for 4 years!
