Sweet memories of the FTB camp: The meeting area was at smu Li Ka Shing Library on 13jul, where we received our free shoebag, water bottle and sleeping bag. Buses were provided to bring us to the campsite-OBS east coast campus. My team mates: 8 of them. 6gals and 3guys. we were all very bonded cos everyone was so easy-going. alrite, so day 1, activities included some ice-breaking, and team building activies.. followed by rafting. we built our own raft with given materials and set it out to sea. unfortunately even after several attempts, our 'raft' could not reach the target of 5m from shore due to the huge waves. paddled and paddled.. tiring but fun time, when we were wet from head to toe.. after dinner was night activities. and it was the time when i discovered that my right knee was swollen. so day 2 i wasnt involved in most activities like for example tunnelling. which was my favourite-darkness. i love darkness. day 3 was the final challenge. some telematch of 8 stations. we got real wet and dirty. very fun! After bath was area cleaning. Ok..foodwise was quite standard. the rice portion was too big..we could never finish them. got veg-my fav, chicken and fish.. As for sleeping environment, i love my tent. the cleanest so called environment i've ever had in camps. there were no weird insects or mosquitoes inside our tent, because we could zip up. i could see stars when i opened my eyes. and i realised i didnt utilise the sleeping bag given at all, coz it was not that tough sleeping on hard ground. hee but butt hurt abit... before the camp ended, the whole cohort did the smu jump for photo-taking. the entire camp was kinda relaxing. i expected myself to get sun burnt, but the weather througout the days were real fine..

I'm really interested in going for a community service camp. was aiming at the red cross camp on 27jul. but still considering as i;m so worried about piano. there's like more camps ahead of me...so i had to plan my time really well.

I've to find time to do my last round of shopping before GSS ends on 22jul. must get a long-sleeve white top for convocation on 18aug. it;s a bit lame that as freshmen we have to atttend our seniors' grad ceremony. haha.
