I was reading the strait times. then under home-forum, i came to this article,' A,B,E, but no place in local varsities'.. where the mother was saying that her gal got rejection letters from all 3 local Us based on her good grades.. ok, some reflections from my side.. i'm lucky. thank god that while ppl have no place to study, i've got all the 3 offer letters with all of them giving me my FIRST CHOICE. with my mediocre grades. actually very lan to me. so i should't even complain, of the torture of choices right? quite shocking, that even abe also can't qualify. haix. It can be seen that this year's application to local varsities is super competitive. But whatever, i believe it's not the end, for those who can't qualify for unis. there is always other alternatives. as long as we're willing to work hard, going anywhere doesn't matter, becos we will still be likely to succeed =)

I'm luck anyway. My buddy, shaun actually have a fren studying at smu-econs. haha so he could gave me first hand info of what's the course about. I spent like 1h plus talking to nicholas on the phone. and i could asked him any questions i want. I think he really gave me sufficient info.. but i think ultimately the decision still lies in me. It's no use listening to others becos i'm the one who's going to study. not my family, my realtives and friends.

Sigh how i wish i get an 'experiment' in smu. like trying out what it means by class participation. i regret what i did in dec 2005. was actually accepted into smu's advanced placement prog for jc2 econs student, but yet without actual consideration, i went to reject it. can actually do a module from jan-march. Well, but no use crying over spilt milk, anyway. Perhaps this shows that i never dream that i'll study at smu right?
